Water for Life Genesis Water Ionizer is the top performer in its class solidly built to withstand 300 watts of power, equipped with 7 durable titanium platinum plates, 76 convenient levels of adjustment of pH and ORP and has a large LCD seven screen. It peaks out near the pH range and is adjustable to as high as 12.5 pH and as low as 2.0 pH. Even if you had a nine plate or 12 plated model you could not ionize the water much more.
You can change the pH level in your water! Why? Certain pH levels work best for certain conditions - for example:
An 11 pH alkaline setting can be used for cooking and cleaning of vegetable, making coffee and tea. This pH setting makes the food taste much better and neutralizes the acid found in coffee and tea.
A pH ranging between 7 and 9.5 generally is used for drinking purposes. An 8.5 pH -- 170 ORP is for people who are just starting to drink ionized water. It is mild so the person drinking it won't detoxify too quickly. The Genesis Platinum #3 setting is very much like what you get from a natural stream of water. (9.5 - 300 ORP)
The third button on the second level is set for acid water (preset at a 3.0 pH) a natural detergent.
The 6.0 setting is ideal for plants
5.0 is best for beauty of the face and a 4.0 is an ideal mild disinfectant for cleaning rashes and wounds.
