PRI-D fuel treatment can be used as a substitute for gasoline treatment PRI-G, but the reverse is not recommended. Therefore, PRI-G should not be used for diesel or kerosene fuels because the chemical makeup is slightly different. Furthermore, it is recommended that the appropriate PRI formulation be used for maximum effectiveness. The PRI formulations are fuel-specific.

What is the shelf life for PRI?
PRI has an unopened shelf life of 3 years. PRI should be stored away from direct sunlight and in a cool place. A bottle of PRI that has not had this exposure will outlast the bottle it is contained in.

How long can PRI-D keep fuel fresh?
PRI will keep fuel fresh for at least one year after initial treatment. Fuel can stay fresh for years to come with annual treatment.

Why does PRI change color and darken over time?
Exposure to light and oxygen affects color and the darkening color does not mean the product loses effectiveness.

What happens when you over-treat with PRI?
Accidental over-treatment is nothing to be concerned about PRI is a petroleum-based product. Constant over-treatment should be avoided – proper ratios should be used – PRI was not formulated as a substitute for fuel.
