The faucet fits into a standard 1.25-inch utility hole, commonly found in stainless steel sinks (often used for a soap dispenser or sprayer, which can be removed).

Once the hole is available, insert the faucet stem, secure it using the included mounting nut, and then you’re ready to connect the system.

Under the sink, turn off the cold water supply, place a pan underneath, and disconnect the hose. Then install the included diverter valve between the cold water spigot and the existing hose.

Finally, connect the tubing from the diverter valve to the WATER INPUT on the IonPlus base, attach the faucet tubing, and plug in the communication cable.

If your sink doesn’t have a pre-drilled hole, you can create one using a carbide hole saw. This will add about 15 minutes to your install time.
